Typical installation using TP modules
Application
DVB-S receivers, also called QPSK/PAL transmodulators, allow to receive digital MPEG-2-compressed programs and convert them to the form used by standard televisions.
There are versions for PAL B/G (CCIR), PAL I (UK), and PAL D/K systems available. The receiver allows to set any output channel within the 46 - 862 MHz range. The internal modulator using VSB-AM modulation enables adjacent-channel operation.
The receivers are used in head stations of small and medium-size cable networks / SMATV systems. The modules can be used together with the TP-569 receivers (with CI).
Installation and security notes
The TP-559 receiver is the newest model of QPSK-PAL transmodulator. Set of the receivers is powered from FA-310 R912046 power supplier. The modules are mounted in the MS-011 R91229 frame.
All connections have to be made in power-off state. One FA-310 AC/DC adapter can supply up to four TP-559 receivers, but the total current cannot exceed the capacity of the supplier - taking into consideration the current load for the LNBs.
The receivers should be programmed with the IR programming device PS-003 R912032.

LED indicators:
IN - there is a signal from the LNB
IR ON/OFF - IR sensor switched on or off (data transmission from IR programming device)
MPEG - proper decoding
OUT - proper work of modulator
