Line distribution amplifier Terra DA-134 has been designed for amplifying and distributing TV signals in CATV networks with return channel. Its output stage uses GaAs push-pull technology. Modular construction allows customization for specific network requirements. The changeable plug-in return path module shaping the frequency characteristics of the return channel can use passive or active components. Built-in potentiometers adjust the frequency response and interstage attenuation of the forward path.

The DA-134 amplifier is powered from a remote 24...65 VAC source, the maximum AC pass current is 4 A. The amplifier is equipped with one input and two outputs (PG-11). To ensure the universality and the possibility of easy adaptation to various network conditions, the amplifier is equipped with potentiometers to set the gain and slope parameters. Another model, Terra DA-133 R82420, uses plug-ins instead.

JXP-x(x) plugins - interstage attenuators and equalizers

* When ordering a plug-in, please give the name and value of attenuation - for example, JXP-5 (5dB). It is possible to order plug-ins with attenuation values 0-20 dB (step 1 dB).

For a passive return path, the plug-in pl 02-00 R81744 should be used. No additional module is required if the amplifier is to operate without a return path (except the pl 01-00 R81742 plug-in link).

Additionally, the return path has to be equipped with one of the pd 03-xx R81750, R81751, R81752 modules (depending on the required band).

Depending on the needs, the DA-133 amplifier can have one or two outputs. With one output, it is necessary to use the pl 02-00 R81744 plug-in, with two outputs one of the ps 01-xx splitters.
