Signal 9/8 R6944808 has been designed for use in individual antenna systems. It distributes signals from two satellites and terrestrial antenna to eight outlets. The outlets can feed eight regular SAT receivers or four double tuner receivers (PVR).
Signal multiswitches: 5/4, 5/8, 5/12, 5/16, 9/8, 9/12, 9/16 are equipped with active terrestrial paths. It eliminates the need of using additional antenna amplifier compensating signal loss in the cabling. When one needs to control a receiver from another room, he or she should use wireless remote control extension 2079T/R R94116 (active terrestrial path does not allow to employ any wired extension).
Signal multiswitches make a very attractive offer for radial systems (one multiswitch, radial distribution of signals from one, two , or four satellites to up to 16 outlets). Thanks to very good parameters the multiswitches are perfect for one-family homes and small multi-family buildings.
For cascadable solutions - larger systems and/or lower terrestrial signals (requiring to use external RF amplifiers) - we recommend high-quality TERRA multiswitches. A lot of information on designing large multiswitch systems has been collected in Professional multiswitch systems.
Maximum output signal level 86 dB limits in practice input signals to 80 dB. Higher signals could overdrive transistor keys and block satellite signals.
The device has been equipped with:
- independent adjustment of TV/FM, VHi, VLo, HHi, HLo paths
- cable equalizer
The multiswich is suitable for indoor use only.
