TCM-1231 megapixel camera from ACTi offers very high image quality (resolution: 1280 x 1024) even in low light. The employed CMOS sensor and IR illuminator allow operation even in total darkness (0 lx). Implementation of H.264 codec, more efficient than MPEG-4, allows to transmit and record images of 1.3 Mpix resolution without high bandwidth and disc space requirements.

TCM-1231 camera is an outdoor device - it can operate in any weather conditions without a need to use additional protective housing, heater or fan.
A very important feature of TCM-1231 camera is compatibility with all professional ACTi devices. It is ensured by the included NVR software for 16 channels. The camera also has other features of professional CCTV devices, like IP66-class housing, efficient IR illuminator, alarm input/output.

Thanks to WDR function the sensor is resistant to overexposure of images caused by strong light, including front, reflected and rear excessive illumination.
