RouterBoard 450g is supported by MikroTik license level 5. The board has been equipped with Atheros 680MHz CPU, very large RAM (256 MB), and 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It ensures high computing power needed for creating high-capacity router or PPPoE concentrator. Cheaper SOHO devices usually have RAM capacity up to 16 MB, which is not sufficient for such purposes.
MikroTik operating system based on Linux is designed for professional web applications. It allows the creation of advanced network systems with static or dynamic routing. Thanks to advanced firewall features and queuing algorithms, it enables the user to manage Internet bandwidth in a simple way.
