Distinguishing features:

V-CAM 515 + IR is equipped with highest quality 1/3'' CCD Super HAD II sensor from SONY, being an improved version of SONY CCD Super HAD. SONY Super HAD II provides much better results than the predecessor - mainly in low-light conditions, where the new sensor ensures better colors and higher sensitivity. Below we present two pictures from cameras equipped with the two kinds of image sensors.

High quality SONY sensor, very good sensitivity (0.01 lx) and resolution (550TVL) make the V-CAM 515 + IR camera the market leader within its price range.The built-in lens of 3.6 mm allows to cover a wide area (viewing angle: 67^o. The images obtained from the camera reflect the actual colors, allow to see small details and the edges of objects are sharp. The camera is very well prepared for operation in difficult lighting conditions. Due to high sensitivity of the camera, color images are free of "snow" even in relatively low lighting.

The built-in IR illuminator allows operation even in complete darkness. It switches on automatically when light intensity falls below 3 lx, and the camera continues operation in B/W mode.

The camera is put into vandal-proof housing. The body of the housing is made of metal, the dome of polycarbonate. The components are mounted with a special wrench, which protects the camera from unauthorized access.

The set includes dedicated bracket that can be mounted on a wall (possibility of hiding the cables). The camera can be used outside (IP66). The device comes with two standard connectors: BNC (video) and 2.1/5.5 (power).

Notice! Adjusting focus or performing other work that requires dismantling of the dome, the user should pay special attention to proper pressing of rubber bush to the housing in order to protect the camera lens from the illuminator. Defective attachment of this element would cause incorrect work of the camera - overexposure of some parts of the image and bright spots.
