The VC-VOT tool is designed to cut windows in VertiCASA cables with easy fiber access. The tool is simple to use and does not damage the fibers. It is intended for the following VertiCASA cables:
In the case of using the VC-VOT tool for stripping the VertiCASA VC-RC1 cable with 12 fibers ( L7112_1 ), the stripper has to be equipped with the included adapter. It protects the cable of small diameter against excessively deep cut and risk of damaging the fibers.
The window must be located between the two aramid strands strengthening the cable sheath. The window should have a length of 80 mm.
