The TRO-1/400 transformer and receiver is designed for delivering DC power and receiving video signal from single TRN-1/400 M1668 video transformer-transmitter over a twisted pair cable (UTP, STP, FTP). The receiver is powered by 24V or 29V AC from external AC power source. Video signal from a camera is sent to the TRN-1/400 M1668 transmitter's input, and transmitted via twisted pair cable to the TRO-1/400 receiver. The transmitter and receiver units adapt 75 ohm coaxial cable impedance to twisted pair impedance. It guarantees video signal transmission for up to 400 meters. The TRO-1/400 receiver delivers unstable voltage (max. 40V DC) to twisted pair cable, and the TRN-1/400 M1668 transmitter converts it down to stable 12V DC which is then used to power the camera and thermostat. Assuming that camera's power consumption is 250mA and thermostat's (TT-12E) 500 mA, the power can be sent over the following distances:
