The SIGNAL-4K modulator is a professional device that enables the conversion of an HDMI signal in 4K Ultra HD or Full HD resolution to a DVB digital terrestrial television signal (DVB-T2 or DVB-T or DVB-C or ISDB-T) in 2160p or 1080p resolution. This makes it possible to transmit video and audio from various HDMI sources (e.g. set-top boxes, DVRs, media players, etc.) to TVs equipped with a DVB-T2, DVB-T or DVB-C tuner. The SIGNAL-4K modulator is an ideal solution for use in hotels, public buildings, monitoring systems or collective installations. In addition, the device is equipped with an RJ-45 port, which enables configuration via a web browser.

The SIGNAL-4K device is a single-channel modulator. This means that it is possible to connect a single signal source fed to the HDMI connector and then modulate it into a DVB-T2 or DVB-T or DVB-C or ISDB-T digital multiplex at 4K UHD 2160p resolution. Configuration options allow the output stream to be added to an existing DVB installation in a manner chosen by the administrator or developer. The signal source can be, among others, media players, DVRs, Blu-ray players, PCs or STB decoders. The modulator can therefore be used to distribute the highest quality content in the DVB standard, via coaxial cable in TV and CCTV installations.

Example of installation of digital terrestrial television in DVB-T2 standard with the use of SIGNAL-4K R86600 modulator. With the use ofR60206 splitter/summerer there has been combined TV signal and the signal from RF outputs of two SIGNAL-4K R86600 modulators.
