DIPOL at ENERGETAB, Sept. 11-13, 2018
Energetab held in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, is an international energy trade show. This is one of the most important meetings of the leading representatives of the power industry and related sectors.

At Energetab 2018, DIPOL will present a number of new products for a wide variety of customers. First of all, it will be video surveillance systems based on modern megapixel analog cameras (Hikvision) and IP solutions (Hikvision, Signal, Sunell). The range of products meets the needs of large installation companies as well as installers building small CCTV systems with several cameras. A part of the offer will be dedicated to the unique system integrating modern IP CCTV and SMATV solutions.

We will also show new solutions for fiber optic systems and for transmission of video and Ethernet signals via various media. As usual, we will offer equipment supporting the use of GSM/LTE services, as well as a complete range of products for individual and shared antenna systems (MATV/SMATV). Our sales representatives and engineers will be giving advice on the implementation of telecommunication installations in buildings.
Transmission of HDMI signals in wired and Wi-Fi networks
DIPOL offers a wide range of HDMI converters transmitting the signal through different types of cables: twisted-pair, coaxial, optical, 230 VAC power network, as well as introduces a new model that transmits it wirelessly in the 5 GHz band. Additionally, many of the converters allow for remote control of the source of the HDMI signal via reverse transmission of IR signal from the remote controller of the source device. Our specialists can help customers to select the optimum method of distributing HDMI signal in apartments, one-family homes, clubs, pubs, restaurants, hospitals, shopping malls, electronics stores, passenger liners.
At the stand, we will present in action the H3613 set injecting HDMI and USB signals into IP network. The IP signal coming from the transmitter of the H3613 kit may be applied to an Ethernet switch to split it among multiple receivers. USB ports in the units also allow for remote control of the source of the signal, e.g. a DVR/NVR, by using a mouse, keyboard etc.
An absolute novelty in our offer is the kit for transmitting HDMI signal wirelessly in the 5 GHz band, H3641. The Signal HD HDMI Extender over Wi-Fi wirelessly transmits a high definition signal from a HDMI source to a television or monitor located up to 50 meters away. The functions include reverse transmission of remote control commands from the location of the TV/monitor to the HDMI source (function of remote control extender).
TERRA multiswitches in RACK cabinets - innovative assemblage system
TERRA is a leading manufacturer of multiswitches for SMATV systems. The equipment can be mounted in popular installation boxes, but due to technical and aesthetic reasons the best solution is the use of professional RACK cabinets located in technical rooms in buildings.
Engineers from DIPOL's technical department have developed an integrated solution for mounting various devices on the surfaces of vertical planes in RACK cabinets. The "RACK BOARD" system allows for use both of the front and side surfaces available after dismantling panels. The solution enables the installer to achieve unprecedented volume filling factor of the cabinet, while maintaining good access to all signal distribution devices, with proper ventilation, connection transparency, application of patch panels to connect all inbound and outbound cables. All the features make it easy for technicians to diagnose the network during operation.
The RACK BOARD vertical assembly system is ideal for installing multiswitches, signal amplifiers, splitters etc.
in RACK cabinets.
At the fair, we will present an example of a complete solution for such a RACK for technical rooms in multi-dwelling units / multifamily buildings. Aside from SMATV system, the RACK cabinet will include examples of terminating copper cabling (coaxial and twisted-pair cables) and optical fibers.
IP (100/1000 Mbps) to 4x DVB-T (COFDM) Transmodulator TERRA mix-440
Transmodulation of RTSP streams from IP cameras to DVB-T signals
Video from IP security cameras distributed in (S)MATV and CATV systems
IP cameras do not generate video signals but data streams. The information cannot be distributed to televisions with the use of typical modulation methods employed in the case of analog cameras. The injection of the video information from IP CCTV cameras into an RF distribution network (a private or shared antenna system, CATV network etc.) requires application of intermediate devices. So far, the most popular solution has been the use of digital HDMI - DVB-T modulators (capable of transmission up to Full HD 1080p / 60 Hz). The HDMI signal carrying the video information from one or a number of IP cameras is available on the monitor output of the IP NVR in the IP CCTV system. In the case of one HDMI signal, it is sufficient to use a single channel HDMI to DVB-T modulator, otherwise one will need a multi-channel HDMI to DVB-T modulator (max. 4 channels). However, when the investor wants to have separate images from the cameras, the number of the channels is limited by the number of independent HDMI outputs in the NVR(s). And what about the situation when the number of the IP cameras that should independently provide the video and sound information is much higher, e.g. 12?
During Energetab 2018, we will show TERRA mix-440IP R81611 IP to DVB-T transmodulator with 100/1000 Mbps interface and RF output providing four DVB-T (COFDM) multiplexes. The latest 2.04 version of the software has been extended by the conversion of the RTSP stream from IP cameras to the DVB-T COFDM standard. This enables the injection of H.264/H.265 signals into a TV antenna system without a need for additional DVB-T modulators.
3-Way TV/FM Splitter R-3 SignalIPTV Streamer: TERRA sdi 480 (DVB-S/S2 to IP, USB port)
Mix-440 R81611 converts IP stream provided in UDP/RTP protocols (unicast/multicast SPTS
and MPTS transmissions) and RTSP stream (from IP cameras) to DVB-T COFDM standard

Mix-440 R81611 can create four DVB-T multiplexes (MUXes), each with a maximum throughput of 31.66 Mbps, which is sufficient for the support of 12 Full HD IP cameras.

HD-TVI 8 MP video resolution
unprecedented quality of analog video surveillance
High definition (HD) systems have become standard solutions in video surveillance. HD-TVI (High Definition Transport Video Interface) and AHD (Analog High Definition) systems can offer high resolution video (up to 8 MP) for costs comparable with the obsolete analog solutions based on CVBS equipment. The key to the success of these systems have been the connection of advantages of analog video technology (ease of installation and configuration, high compatibility of devices of different manufacturers) with high resolutions characteristic for IP systems, along with increased resistance to interference.
The latest version 4.0 of HD-TVI system supports 8 MP image resolution. Thanks to higher resolution of such systems, they can either employ a fewer number of cameras (each camera with wide viewing angle can cover a larger area) or provide more detailed surveillance information. The live video is not compressed (compression is necessary only for recording), so it is more crisp compared with IP cameras, as well as has no latency.
Key features of HD-TVI 4.0 systems:
  • image resolutions up to 8 MP
  • PoC - power over coax - power supply over video cable
  • sensitivity from 0.005 lx
  • compatibility with AHD cameras
  • maximum transmission distance longer than in the case of CVBS (RG-59 cable: 800 m for 1080p video)
  • H.265 and H.265+ codecs ensure lower bit rates minimizing disk space consumption)
  • HDTVI 4.0 DVRs are equipped with a range of video outputs:
    • CVBS - compatibility with legacy CVBS monitors and TV systems
    • HDMI - support for monitors/televisions with resolutions up to 4K
    • VGA - support for VGA monitors with resolutions up to 2K

Easy IP 3.0 cameras implement several video compression methods, H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, MJPEG. Compared with H.264, H.265 standard can reduce by half the data stream, which translates into proportional savings of the disk space or extended data retention time. H.265+ and H.264+ are Hikvision standards based on the original systems and optimized for CCTV applications. They further minimize the streams in typical video surveillance scenarios.
EasyIP Lite series of Hikvision cameras also provides good performance for even lower price. The series supports motion detection and video tampering detection. The cameras from the series also provide corridor mode and possibility of defining one Region of Interest (ROI). Models of the cameras with G0 marking in their names, e.g. DS-2CD1023G0-I K17661 support H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264/MJPEG video compression.

LPR - license plate recogniotion
Special Hikvision camera (for autonomous and NVR-based systems)
IP Project Camera: Hikvision DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P (2MP, 2.8-12mm MOTOZOOM, 0.0027 lx, IR up to 50m, WDR (120dB), LPR, IP67)
The DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P camera is dedicated for systems with license plate recognition (LPR) of vehicles moving at speeds up to 120 km/h. The identification can be set for 4 traffic lanes, but it is recommended to use it for 1 or 2 lanes. There can be imported a list of number plates divided into two categories: White list and Black list. The recognition of a vehicle with the number plate contained on one of the list can be linked with triggering an available alarm response: notification of the monitoring center, saving a photo on memory card or sending it to FTP or NAS server. If the vehicle is not on any of the lists, it will simply be registered. The camera can operate in an autonomous way, but much greater functionality is available in combination with an NVR.
