IP camera PiXORD P463DW is speed dome camera designed for sending video/audio stream via computer network. The main applications include professional monitoring systems based on IP technology - in businesses, offices, stores, shopping molls, factories, banks, government buildings, developments, houses etc.

Capabilities of PiXORD P463DW IP camera:

integration with any IP monitoring system,
remote viewing of images via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
remote management of camera via Internet Explorer from any place in the world,
PTZ control via IE from any place in the world,
analog video signal on BNC output, parallel to IP interface,
PTZ control with analog console (Lilin),
remote recording of images/sound on the computer (via Internet Explorer),
remote viewing of images via VLC or Quick Time Player,
capturing viewed images (as JPEG or BMP) and saving them on computer any moment (via Internet Explorer),
digital zoom
viewing of images from 4 PiXORD cameras (this camera + 3 other cameras from among: K1130 P300, K1131 P400, K1132 P400W, K1136 P428, K1236 P463DW, K2131 P1401) - on the camera's www site,
videoconferencing via Internet Explorer, thanks to embedded software (there is needed second Pixord camera or video server: K1130 P300, K1131 P400, K1132 P400W, K1136 P428, K1236 P463DW, or K2131 P1401),
performing programmed actions after motion detection and/or activation of alarm input:

sending short AVI files to an ftp server,
sending short AVI files as e-mail attachment,
activation of alarm output,

indoor or outdoor applications.

The camera and the 230VAC/12 VDC adapter have been placed in watertight IP68 housing equipped with heater and fan. The latter elements ensure reliable operation even in extreme weather conditions - they switch on and off automatically to maintain proper internal temperature. In the case of indoor use, the included accessories allow to place the camera in suspended ceiling or screw it to normal ceiling. The camera module and outdoor housing are packed separately.

The camera P463DW has been equipped with 1/4'' ExView HAD CCD day/night sensor (540TVL). This Sony image sensor with WDR function features high sensitivity (color: 0.1 lx, B/W: 0.01 lx - with F.6 lens). The camera employs automatic mechanically-driven IR filter and 3.5 - 95 mm zoom lens (25x, F1.6 - F3.6), with automatic focus adjustment. The camera also has microphone input (3.5mm jack). Both the image and sound have DVD-like quality. Two LEDs inform the user about power and network status. The reset button restores default settings. The camera is also equipped with:

The camera features 25x optical and 2.56x digital zoom (total: 64x). Its PT mechanism ensures continuous horizontal rotation (360^o) and over right-angled vertical tilt range (-5^o do +95^o ). PT movements can be performed at speeds from 0.18^o/s to180^o/s (manual control), 1^o/s to 255^o/s (presets), and 360^o/s (return to initial position or reaction to an alarm). After reaching the lowest position (tilt), the pan mechanism turns 180^o and the lens goes up (tilt).
The time of zooming (shortest to longest focal length and vice versa) can be adjusted from 3.5s (quick) through 6s (medium) to 52s (slow).
The operator can program 128 presets and sequentially scan the area between presets. It is also possible to program reaction if any alarm occurred (alarm input).

P463DW can stream video in MPEG-4 ot MJPEG format, with D1 (720x576 PAL, 720x480 NTSC) resolution at 25 fps (PAL) or 30 fps (NTSC). Its resolution can be reduced to CIF or QCIF. Sound can be sent in PCM or MP2 format.
In each video format the user can set compression level which influences image quality and bandwidth requirements. Additionally, in MPEG-4 format it is possible to choose CBR or VBR option and change advanced Group of Picture (GOP) settings. The MPEG-4 streaming uses RTSP protocol.
