The NETSET BOX U/UTP cat 6 cable far exceeds the requirements for Category 6 twisted pair cables.
NETSET cables are compliant with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and EN 50575 harmonized European standard that specifies reaction to fire performance requirements, test and assessment methods for electric cables for use in construction works.
The requirements for using cables with a specific reaction to fire class in a given type of building should be based on a risk analysis made by the installation designer or other national formal and legal documents. The CPR Directive does not impose on the EU Member States the requirements for types of buildings and associated cables with specific fire reaction classes.
According to guidelines of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers guidelines, CPR class B2ca cable must be installed in escape routes:
  • High-rise buildings (WW) with a height of more than 55 m above ground level
  • High-rise buildings (W) with a height of more than 25 m to 55 m above ground level or residential buildings with the number of floors above ground level from 9 to 18 inclusive
  • Buildings in human risk category ZL I with rooms intended for simultaneous presence of more than 50 people who are not permanent users, and not intended primarily for use by people with reduced mobility
  • Buildings in human risk category ZL II – intended primarily for use by people with reduced mobility, such as hospitals, nurseries, kindergartens, nursing homes
  • Buildings in human risk category ZL III – commercial buildings not classified unser ZL I and ZL II
  • Buildings in human risk category ZL IV – residential
  • Buildings in human risk category ZL V – collective residence not classified under ZL I and ZL II
  • PM and IN buildings (production buildings, warehouses, livestock etc.).
Thanks to the fulfillment of such high criteria, the twisted pair can be used in buildings and their parts that have increased fire resistance requirements, e.g. in corridors, staircases or escape routes.
The NETSET BOX U/UTP CAT 6 E1614 cable is the highest-quality twisted pair cable designed for professional data transmission systems inside buildings (structural wiring, LANs).
The NETSET cable comes from the latest generation of UTP twisted pair cables. Its external diameter has been reduced to 5.9 mm, which considerably facilitates insertion of the cable into ducts and pipes. Special insulation material makes it easier to attach RJ-45 connectors.
Distinguishing features of the NETSET BOX U/UTP CAT 6 cable:
  • top quality materials, made to tight specifications, proven with a, 15-year quality guarantee,
  • flammability class B2ca-s1a-d1-a1
  • preliminary quality control of materials and thorough tests of the finished product,
  • meter markers,
  • cooper solid wires diameter 0.565 mm,
  • insulation of conductors made of insulating, mass-coloured HDPE, conductor diameter: 0.98 mm, insulation colors: white-green/green, white-orange/orange, white-brown/brown, white-blue/blue,
  • cable sheath made of LSZH compliant material, outer diameter 6.4 mm,
  • length marker print error max. 0.5%
The NETSET U/FTP cat. 6 E1615 twisted pair cable has been manufactured in accordance with the standards:
EN50575:2014, EN60332-1-2:2004, EN50399:2011, EN60754-2:2014, EN 13501-6:2014.
The cable comes with a 15-year warranty.
The manufacturer guarantees the stability of parameters for at least 15 years, on the condition that the cable is packed, transported, installed, and used according to adequate European standards (among others E-79100 and EN 50174-1), within the permissible environmental conditions.
The NETSET NETSET U/FTP Category 6 E1615 twisted pair cable is intended for use in an environment with temperature from -20oC to +50 oC. Installation temperature not lower than 0oC and not higher than +50oC. The bending radius should not be less than 8 times the outside diameter.
