DS-2CD2047G3-LI2UY/SL is an IP tube camera from Hikvision, part of the EasyIP 4.0+ series. Thanks to ColorVu 3.0 technology, which uses the HikAI-ISP signal processor based on artificial intelligence and 3D LUT color correction technology, users can enjoy a color image around the clock with important identification details. AcuSense 2.0 technology, i.e. perimeter protection with human/vehicle object filtering, together with the AcuSearch function, enables even better filtering of false alarms and quick searching for objects of interest. Thanks to the use of Audio 2.0 and a design with 2 microphones that ensures excellent noise reduction, the camera is characterized by excellent sound quality in various application scenarios. The built-in speaker and strobe light ensure active and effective deterrence of intruders through audio messages and light signaling after a user-defined event has been triggered.
This camera model is equipped with a large 1/1.8” progressive scan CMOS sensor with a resolution of 4 MP which is characterized by a very high sensitivity and the ability to capture images in low light conditions. The camera has a very bright Super Confocal F1.0 lens with a focal length of 4 mm which allows for high image sharpness at an angle of 95.2°. The IR hybrid illuminator and white LED lights with a range of up to 40 m ensure proper observation at night. Support for the legacy and latest H.265(+) compression methods, allows for the archiving time of recordings to be while maintaining excellent image quality and backward compatibility. Additional features to improve image quality, such as AGC, 3D-DNR, AI WDR (130 dB), BLC, HLC, EIS, lens distortion correction and built-in image analytics (VCA), based on a deep learning algorithm, allow the camera to be used for the implementation of advanced projects. The camera can be powered conventionally with 12 VDC or via PoE (compliance with 802.3af).

Hikvision has launched the EasyIP 4.0 Plus camera series, which offers advanced video surveillance solutions. This series integrates the latest technologies such as ColorVu 3.0, AcuSense 3.0 and Audio 2.0, which provide users with higher image quality, more precise threat detection and better audio communication. Cameras in this series also feature improved corrosion resistance and more environmentally friendly packaging.
Hikvision ColorVu 3.0 is a modern video surveillance technology that provides a clear and colorful image even in low light conditions. Thanks to the use of HikAI-ISP, an image signal processor based on artificial intelligence, the image is brighter, less noisy and motion blur has been eliminated, which significantly increases the quality of recordings in severe conditions. 3D LUT technology provides color correction, ensures accurate color reproduction and better image quality.
Hikvision AcuSense 3.0 is an advanced video surveillance technology that uses deep learning algorithms to increase the effectiveness of protection. The system offers the AcuSearch function, which enables quick search for specific events or objects in recordings which significantly improves the analysis of video material. With its improved algorithms, AcuSense 3.0 accurately detects and classifies threats, effectively distinguishing between people and vehicles, which significantly reduces false alarms.
Audio 2.0 offers better sound reception and clearer speaker effects. The design with a dual directional microphone ensures excellent noise reduction, a clear voice and better overall sound quality. The integration of an intelligent PA speaker increases the sound range, amplifies the warning effect of alarms and facilitates more effective two-way voice communication. With Audio 2.0, cameras can therefore better adapt to larger and more complex scenarios where audio requirements are higher.
The camera uses a motion detection algorithm 3.0, which is based on deep learning and allows alarms to be filtered for human and vehicle silhouettes, thus eliminating false alarms caused by e.g. animals, leaves, or changes in light. This algorithm is even better at handling difficult lighting conditions compared to the previous generation, taking motion detection to the next level. The newer version of the algorithm means that stationary vehicles no longer trigger false alarms caused by light reflecting off them, further improving the reliability of the entire system.
Another improvement is AI WDR, which allows for a natural combination of bright and dark areas of the image. The bright areas are not overexposed and the details in the dark areas remain visible. In addition, AI WDR allows the WDR function to be switched on and off automatically depending on the ambient brightness, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.
The LiveGuard technology from Hikvision is a solution that, in addition to the features of a professional camera used in a monitoring system, has a built-in speaker and strobe light to actively deter potential intruders. The camera also enables two-way communication, which increases the effectiveness of the system in preventing security incidents. Thanks to AcuSense technology, the number of false alarms received by the user using perimeter protection is kept to a minimum. Live Guard technology offers four functions in one camera, including video recording, strobe light, audio alarms and immediate notification of the event in the app, allowing for a quick response. With the Hik-Connect app, it is possible to arm and disarm the system remotely and integrate it with other devices, which results in a comprehensive security solution.
Hikvision has introduced Smart Hybrid Light cameras, which combine the advantages of traditional cameras and ColorVu series cameras. The traditional cameras have an IR illuminator that illuminates the scene allowing them to record images at night, at the expense of losing details in the form of colors. ColorVu cameras, can record color images around the clock, but the use of white light illumination is not always expected. To meet these requirements Hikvision is introducing smart hybrid cameras with ColorVu technology, equipped with three modes of secene illumination: classic infrared, white LED light and smart mode. In smart mode, the camera triggers the light when it detects a human or vehicle silhouette, providing a color image. Once the object leaves the detection zone, the camera switches back to IR mode. In addition to illuminating the scene to provide a color image, the LED light has the additional function of deterring an intruder. What mode the camera will operate is decided by the user.

Compression is a very important parameter proving the device advancement. The better the compression, the lower the bandwidth requirement with the same subjective quality. H.265 (HEVC - High Efficiency Video Coding) is currently the most efficient compression method. Compared to its predecessor (H.264), it reduces the data stream and the demand for disk capacity by half. Therefore, hard drives with a halved capacity can be used, or recordings can be stored for twice as long. Its improved version H.265+ has been optimized for use in CCTV monitoring systems. They allow for further reduction of data streams.

iVMS-4200 is client software dedicated to the management and supervision of Hikvision security systems such as DVRs (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, set-top boxes, etc. The software allows you to easily and conveniently monitor all systems. It offers IP camera viewing, remote playback of recordings, remote configuration, alarm event handling, two-way audio transmission, e-map support, hard disk recording and much more.

Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used to remotely view live video from DVR, NVR, IP cameras, door entry systems using Wi-Fi, 2G or 3G networks and also to view recorded videos. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application allows connectivity via IP addresses and via P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.
The ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) function in Hikvision cameras ensures recording continuity in the event of a network failure. If the connection to the NVR is interrupted, the camera automatically saves the recordings on a microSD card. Once the network connection is restored, the missing recordings are transferred to the recorder, ensuring that the recordings are complete. Thanks to ANR, users do not have to worry about losing video footage during network problems, which increases the reliability of the surveillance system.

- EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization): electronic image stabilization that minimizes image blur caused by camera vibrations
- LDC (Lens Distortion Correction): lens distortion correction that aims to reduce or the elimination of image distortions caused by the lens optics
- HikAI-ISP: image processing technology based on artificial intelligence that automatically optimizes image quality in real time. It improves details, reduces noise and adjusts parameters depending on lighting conditions, ensuring better visibility
- 3D LUT: technology used in cameras for precise image color correction, which enables accurate color reproduction in various lighting conditions
