Video Intercom Kit: Hikvision 2-Wire DS-KIS703-P

The DS-KIS703-P is a complete 2-Wire Hikvision 2nd generation video intercom kit which includes the DS-KV8103-IMPE2 door station, DS-KH6320-WTPE2 monitor, a surface-mounted protective housing, and a power supply. To power the system connect the DC 24 V power supply to the monitor. The door station is powered from the monitor after the devices are directly connected via a 2-wire bus. The electric door strike can be supplied directly from the door station using the dedicated DC 12 V output.

The single-subscriber door station is equipped with a 2 MP camera with a wide viewing angle (144° horizontal and 95° vertical). The infrared illuminator with a range of up to 3 m provides proper observation in night conditions. Two relay outputs allow to control the wicket and entrance gate. The electric door strike can be powered directly from the door station using a dedicated output or using an external power supply.

The system is configured and operated using a 7" monitor with a clear and intuitive graphical interface, which allows direct audio/video calls with the person at the door station. Built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module operating in the b/g/n standard enables wireless communication, connection to the Internet, integration with IP cameras and remote control via the Hik-Connect application. When a call comes in, a picture of the caller is automatically captured. It is also possible to leave a voice message when the tenant is away.

Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used for remote live viewing from DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, video intercoms over the WiFi, 2G or 3G and to view saved recordings. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application supports connectivity over IP and a P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.
